Patrizio Orippi was born in Fidenza, in the province of Parma, on 17 June 1970.
15 years later he decided to join the International School of Strings of Cremona, where he attended the courses of the masters Vincenzo Bissolotti, Massimo Negroni and Stefano Conia.
He graduates in 1989 with honors, begins to improvement attending the laboratory of master Vincenzo Bissolotti and of the father, the master Francesco Bissolotti.
For 3 years working from a restorer of furniture as carver and cabinet, buying a great knowledge in the variety of wood and manual skill.
In 1997 working for a year in Germany in Saarbrucken in the laboratory of the master luthier T. tebbi.
He attended the laboratory, as further, the friend master Stefano Gironi.
In 2006 opens its activities in Piazza San Michele in Cremona.
He builds violins, violas and cellos, inspired by Cremona's great tradition of Violin Making.
Its varnish is transparent, brilliant; the master Orippi is also particular careful to seasoning of materials, carefully selected.
He has a great interest for the stringed instruments of the first years of 900, in particular for the Masters Giuseppe ornaments, Ferdinando garimberti and Giuseppe guilders, from which draws its inspiration.
In 2006, with a cello to XI triennial International Competition of stringed instruments of Cremona and the IV National Competition of Violin Making in Baveno, classifying with a violet to fourth place.
He currently works in Cremona in the shop of Corso Vittorio Emanuele II 46, which shares with the master Alessandro Gambarin, near A. Ponchielli theater.
